Linnea - 3/7/2019

Linnea ate French toast and two servings of dried plums.  For lunch she ate most of pulled pork, most of whole wheat toast, ate peas, and strawberries. First picture: Nora has a flashlight and is checking out the "hibernating animals" on Linnea's shirt.  Ha! Linnea and Atley played in the chair until Nora came and then Nora joined them.  They never get tired of two things at Daycare:  the chair to spin in and the mattress to jump on. Next two pictures: Two of Linnea's favorite things to do.  Play with the dress-up clothes and read books!  I  saw her playing with these same slippers at least three times this morning. Last picture: Linnea was following Svea around and wanting to love on her so bad!  Svea was just too busy and wasn't about to stop moving.  When Svea got down on the floor Linnea got down there too - about the same time Svea was preparing to move on to something else!!  Ha!  Well it was a nice try Linnea! ...

Linnea ate two servings of whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with pasta sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, riced cauliflower, and fruit salad. First picture; well the day starts and the daily routines start!!  "Get in the chair Linnea!"  And the daily reminders start: "Ask Linnea if she wants to ride in the chair."  :)  Then Atley asked Linnea; "Do you want some toys Linnea?"  Linnea nodded her head in the affirmative!  A big head nod! Next two pictures: Well flashlights and headlamps were the big hits of the morning!  Linnea was enjoying her's right along with Atley and Nora.  I didn't think she'd be able to push the on/off button on the flashlight, but she did it immediately and easily.  I got 4 headlamps, 4 flashlights, and 2 other small items at Harbor Freight for under $15.  Pretty cheap toys for everyone.  And they came with batteries!  :)

Linnea ate whole wheat bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and raspberries.  Linnea is consistently my best eater!!  It's so nice when these little ones are not picky eaters!  And she's NOT a picky eater!  :)  Good job Linnea!! First two pictures; Linnea played with dolls first thing this morning.  She was carrying them around, giving them loves, and saying, "my baby, my baby."  Second picture:  Putting together some legos.  I said, "You did it!"  So she said, "I did it!"  :) Next picture:  Linnea has been doing lots of jumping on the mattress and is getting pretty good at it!  This morning she jumped on the floor and Lauralea was impressed and said, "Linnea got both feet off the floor jumping!"  So Atley got right down on the floor for a close-up look!  LOL.  Atley was saying, "Jump Linnea jump!" Haha!  What a goof! ...

Linnea ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, bites of cucumber, bites of peppers, ate avocado, and pears. We were at the window waiting for Daddy to drive around the corner and wave.  I saw him coming and asked, "Who's that?"  She said, "Da da."  It sure is.  :)  Then I fixed her ponytail and the moment I was done she raced for the chair and starting spinning/running around and around with it.  Which is why the first picture is kind of a blur, her hair is flying, and her tongue is hanging out!!  :)  After Atley arrived Linnea got in the chair (Atley said, "GET IN!"  Uhh...you can ask and do it nicely.)  and Atley was spinning her.  Linnea was kind of singing, "Rock-a-bye-Baby" at the start of the ride. Speaking of Atley after she arrived she went poop in the toilet!  It's a big deal today because it's her first time doing that at Daycare.  Anyhow she cam...

Linnea ate whole grain cream of wheat cereal and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, pineapple, and peppers.  She also ate brown rice and pineapple on the side. After waving bye to Daddy and Anders we were snuggling in the chair.  I had the music playing and the song was "There were three in the bed and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over..."  Linnea said, "Row row.... row row."  I laughed and she did it over and over and over trying and wanting to keep me laughing.  It was SO funny. First picture: I took this shortly after Atley arrived.  These two play together very nicely every morning which is nice because they're the only kids here for up to 45 minutes daily.  In the first picture they were in the middle of some kind of negotiation involving a couple of stuffed birds!  (Ha! fake ones!)  Second picture; Atley is pushing the chair around and around and I like how Linnea a...

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...

Linnea ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, whole wheat toast, sweet potatoes, and applesauce.  The meat was cut in tiny pieces and I mixed it in with the sweet potatoes and applesauce and fed her.  We have a routine at meal times that the highchair kids "come out" first.  The three 'older' ones still try to come out early and always have to ask.  At lunch Nora said, "Gary, can I come out!?"  Linnea said, "no."  Haha!  Thank you Linnea. Speaking of Linnea and Nora;  This morning Linnea was holding out a toy towards Nora and Nora reached to take it.  Of course that's not really what Linnea was wanting Nora to do.  How do you explain to a 2 -3 year old (in this case; a very sensitive 2 - 3 year old!!  ha!) that the babies hold it out for you, but don't really want you to actually take it!! This first picture was taken shortly after Atley arrived and these two were ...
