Linnea's Journal

Linnea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. I asked Linnea what she was going to be for halloween.  She said, "Spider."  Of course later she changed that to "alligator." Haha.  I asked her if she was gonna go trick or treat.  She said, "Yes, can you come with me?"  Haha!  So cute.  First picture:  This made me laugh!  Callahan was reaching for my computer and Linnea was very concerned about it!  She kept saying, "He's trying to get your pew-ter Gary, he's trying to get your pew-ter!! Linnea ate half of french toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, cauliflower, and spices.  She also ate crackers and two servings of tropical fruit. I took the first picture this morning when it was just Atley and Linnea here.  They were running and jumping and having fun.  Atley had just come off the top of the igloo and was getting some good bounce going!! I'm posting this next picture of her because I think it's cute!!  :)  I took this right after she was done eating breakfast and I'm obviously above her looking straight down.  Linnea was saying, "will you snuggle me, will you snuggle me, will you snuggle me?"  Well of course, I'd love too.  :) Last picture; Linnea and Svea were staying busy stacking legos - earlier it was the building blocks.

Linnea ate waffle and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of applesauce. First picture: Linnea and Atley were stopping for a water break.  The moment Atley arrived these two were running back and forth across the room over and over.  And that makes a person thirsty!!  It was funny to watch them because Linnea kept taking shortcuts on every lap.  I call it "smart choices."  :) Next two pictures; This was pretty funny to watch!  Linnea had a bandaid on the big toe on her right foot.  She worked and worked to get the bandaid off, but to no avail.  Atley stayed right there the entire time itching to get her hands on that bandaid and pull it off for Linnea!  Finally Linnea gave Atley an opportunity.  She wasn't any more successful than Linnea.  It was stuck very tight!!  So I used some scissors on it and Linnea was totally fine with that. ...

Linnea ate two servings of kix cereal and ate mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey (mixed with avocado that I fed to her), ate whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, and ate cherries. First picture:  Linnea and Svea were stacking blocks and building several towers.   They began by just scattering the blocks like usual, but today they spent more time actually building with them.  Nice work girls. Next picture:  Avi built this using just the smaller block pieces.  She called it her "bridge."  Several minutes later Linnea was walking on it and said, "Your bridge is really neat."  Ha!  I loved that!  And so did Avilene!!  She said, "Linnea said my bridge is neat!!"  Haha!! Last picture:  I love it when the kids get so absorbed in their books.  Linnea was reading/singing when I took this picture.  It looks like she's practicing for the choir!!  :)

Linnea ate oatmeal and a couple bites of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She ate bites of whole wheat dinner roll and ate a large serving of apricots. Next picture:  So Linnea and Atley were giving each other "piggy back" rides.  Well sort of!!  This is how you flatten your piggy when you're just a little too big!!  haha!!  And just in case you're wondering;  Linnea didn't complain one little bit!!  Surprised me too!!  I still told Atley to get off because I was afraid she was gonna squish poor Linnea! Linnea ate French toast and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of pulled pork, no whole wheat toast, ate peas, and strawberries. Here's a couple of things Linnea said this morning that made me laugh. "Hey Lauralea, I'm a superhero."  :) Linnea was trying to get Svea to do something.  She said, "Hey Svea, come on ."  It wasn't working and she turned to me and said, "Gary, she's not coming on ."  Hahaha. First picture;  Callahan was following Svea and Linnea up the steps to the blue balance beam.  The girls are looking at him waiting for his next move!!  Haha!  He really had no clue what the next move should be; so I put him on the mattress.  :) Next picture: We have a couple of cameras in the Preschool room for the kids to take pictures.  Then we display them on the digital frame so they can look at their pictures during meal times and whenever.  If you could see this in "live mode" A...

Linnea ate most of whole wheat toast and ate a large serving of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, riced cauliflower (I fed her), and two servings of fruit salad. First two pictures - I fixed Linnea's hair right after she arrived and she said, "Will you snuggle me?"
