Linnea's Journal

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffins and three servings of oranges for breakfast.  (They are super sweet and very good right now!)  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  I mixed it together and was feeding it to her; and did the same for Svea. This is from earlier in the week, but I don't think I posted it.  She has been doing "frog sounds" and on the floor trying to "hop."  She said, "ribbit, ribbit."  Which sounds more like "rabbit rabbit."  Haha! When Lauralea appeared this morning Linnea wanted to make sure Lauralea noticed Callahan.  She said, "Cal over here."  So cute!! Linnea ate French toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of paleo stew with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans.  She also ate crackers and tropical fruit. These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Atley and Linnea were playing a game that was a cross between hide-n-seek and peek-a-boo!  Linnea was running to the window and saying, "ready" and running back to the dress-up rack and "finding" Atley peeking through at her.  They were laughing so hard and did this game over and over for at least 15 minutes.  Atley really likes Linnea and I especially see it when I'm changing Linnea's poopy diaper.  Linnea is very uncomfortable with the poopy cleanup and she frequently fusses.  Atley always comes over and rubs her head or gets her a toy for comfort.  Very sweet.  Second picture: She's just wearing the hard hat again and I thought it looked so cute.  :) Next p...

Linnea ate waffle and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of her chicken, ate whole wheat tortilla, corn, and most of baked cinnamon apples. I was rocking Baby Callahan and singing to him while he was going to sleep.  Except I was using Linnea's name in the song because she was standing right there watching me.  She started grinning all over and said, "I'm not a baby.  Speaking of singing Linnea was singing the "ABC" song.  And it was very recognizable in words and tune.  Well done Linnea. I took this first picture shortly after Svea and Avi arrived and all four of these kids had jingle bells and were shaking them.  Second picture was taken at the construction site!!  Linnea has her hardhat and drill!  :)  Picture number three: Linnea is taking care of her baby.  She said, "Baby crying." Linnea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado, bites of tomato, and two servings of cherries. Even though this first note happened with Daddy this morning I have to Blog it because it was so cute.  When Daddy Eric was heading out the door Linnea said, "I love you sign, I love you sign."  She held out her arm and was trying to make the sign as well.  Nice job Linnea. Linnea ate most of brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She ate most of whole wheat dinner roll and ate apricots. Linnea is almost always the first one here and we have little routines that we do.  Such as, fix her ponytail first, and then sit on the couch and I ask her questions.  And lots of the same questions everyday.  "What did you do last night?"  Her standard answer; "Play with puppy."  And then we laugh.  This morning it was 35 minutes before the 2nd child arrived so we had lots of one on one time. Linnea ate French toast and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries. This first picture cracked me up!!  Linnea was putting the doll blanket over her head and saying, "peek a boo" to Callahan.  As you can see in the picture he is being highly entertained!!  Haha!  Not. But Linnea was still highly entertaining herself which is just as important!! Next picture: Lauralea had Linnea at the table (in the background) and was doing some testing with her while Atley and Avi eagerly watched the proceedings!  Ha!  It was almost breakfast time and so Lauralea put Linnea in her highchair (which Linnea wasn't impressed with - not the right routine!!) and then Lauralea must have been singing because Linnea said, "No Singing!"  LOL!!  Cracked us up!  I do have a "no singing" rule during meal times primarily because Atley is a LOUD singer and loves to entertain the ...

Linnea ate two servings of whole wheat toast and a large serving of mangoes for breakfast.  It was after 11:00 when I realized we'd forgotten to cook the spaghetti noodles for lunch!!  Ooops!  So we had more toast!  However that gave everyone something to talk about at lunch!  Over and over! And over!   "They forgot to cook the noodles!!"  "They forgot to cook the noodles!"  "Gary, you forgot to cook the noodles."  Ha!  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce, whole wheat toast, half of cauliflower, and a large serving of fruit salad.
