Linnea's Journal

Linnea ate whole wheat bagel and grapes for breakfast.  Almost everyday she's impressing me with her talking!  At breakfast she said, "I want more of that."  I said, "Grapes?"  She said, "more bread." That's pretty impressive Linnea!  (And if you want a second opinion, Lauralea heard it and agreed!  Haha!)  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries. Lauralea was leaving for work and telling everyone bye like she does every morning.  Linnea said, "Love you sign, love you sign, love you sign."  And holding her fingers out like we do when we make the sign.  So cute!!  We loved it! Linnea ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, ate whole wheat pita bread, cucumbers, peppers, and pears. Linnea was singing a song this morning and I started humming along with her.  And then I recognized it!  "Little Bunny Foo Foo!"  Ha!  We have the book and we read and sing this one frequently so she's heard it many times.  Well done Linnea!! First picture: I'm not sure if Linnea made it to the window in time to wave bye to Daddy this morning, but she was really trying hard to make it!!  She'd put these boots on and then was grinning all over trying to get across the room before the boots came off!!  So cute. Linnea ate whole grain cream of wheat cereal and bananas for breakfast.  Or as Atley called it; " Queen of weed cereal."  Haha!  Then she changed it to " Cream of weed cereal."  For lunch Linnea ate baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, pineapple, and peppers.  She also ate whole wheat bagel and some pineapple on the side. Linnea does a pretty good job blowing her nose doesn't she?!?  She's pretty young and I'm impressed! Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shepherd's pie with meat, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and ate cherries. Linnea's language is growing so fast!!  She was singing to her doll this morning; "Good night baby, good night baby...."  She was also pulling on her pants to show Lauralea and she said; "Got pants." Ha!  I asked her, "What's your name?"  She said, "Abby."  (Avi)  "Giggle giggle giggle."  (Repeated that 3 or 4 times.)  I love that.  She was being silly. Linnea ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and peppers.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit. First picture is from yesterday afternoon!  Linnea got to play outside here!!  Because she leaves earlier in the afternoon than anyone else she hadn't gotten much outside play time at Daycare this spring!!  But it's starting to get warmer so we were back out this morning too!  I bought some cheap baby strollers for $14 each so the kids could play with them.  Linnea loves them and Atley was willing to give her a ride!!  Second picture: We were doing bubbles outside this morning and the big kids were chasing them like crazy hollering and squealing.  Svea did find some abandoned bubbles and that's what she looking at on the ground.  "Over here Linnea, Over Here!!"  :) Here are some more pictures from this morni...

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, ate whole wheat toast, bites of beets, ate sweet potatoes, and applesauce. Svea and Avilene were here early this morning and arrived before Linnea.  That's rare!  Anyhow, Svea doesn't see Eric very often  and was watching him closely.  I said, "That's Eric."  Avi said, "Like carrot."  What?  She said, "Yes, Eric and carrot, they rhyme."  Haha!  Well.....close. Next picture: Linnea was working hard with the legos today.  She will sometimes say; "Look Gary." Linnea ate oatmeal and half of dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and half of applesauce. Linnea had a very typical morning and was her usual sweet self.  :)  First picture: How many pictures do I post with Linnea playing with the dress-up clothes!?!  It's basically the first thing she does every morning.  And frequently wearing just one shoe is enough!  Ha!  She already had this one shoe on when she was waving at Daddy this morning. Second picture; Atley was sitting on one side and Linnea was sitting on the other side of me and we were doing selfies.  And being silly!  I think this is a great picture of her beautiful smile. Next picture - Lauralea had some more "testing" to do with Linnea before our meeting and she put some blocks in front of Linnea to see if she'd stack these.  She stacked what you see and then looked at Lauralea as if to say, "Well...

Linnea ate whole wheat bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger and sausage pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, olives, pineapple, and peppers.  She also ate a large serving of pineapple on the side. Yesterday after Linnea got up from her nap I just let her walk out to the play room with her pacifier still in her mouth.  After a few minutes she took the binky out of her mouth and walked over to the changing table ate lay it up there.  Without me saying anything about it.  Good job Linnea. Linnea ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, bite of carrots and potatoes, and ate fruit salad. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  I should just buy a couple of strollers for the kids to give each other rides!!  They love playing with it!  This old stroller with the small wheels doesn't roll on the carpet very easy, but Linnea had her head down and was giving it a good try! Here are some pictures from this morning!  Linnea had a great morning and did a big second poop about half an hour before lunch.  Very similar to the first one and she's not complaining about it so that's even better!!  I like this first picture: Linnea was busy engaged in putting on some dress-up shoes and then heard Atley waving bye to her Momma Megan.  Linnea jumps up with one shoe on and heads for the window.  :) Next picture; morning greetings to baby Callahan. ...

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffin and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and oranges. Update!!  Some better news on Linnea's pooping situation this morning!  She finally had a decent poop this morning during breakfast time in her highchair!  And she never complained about it at all! It happened easily and I think it was because she couldn't do her "body maneuvers" trying to fight it while strapped into her highchair!  She screamed two times this morning by 8:15 and not again!!  Cheers!!  It was SO great to see her enjoying herself and not have to arch her body backwards trying to "halt" the process!! Linnea ate cheerios and bites of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, most of whole wheat pita bread, ate olives, bites of salad, and ate her strawberries. Linnea told Ryan (Nora's Dad) that "Lauralea is funny."  Haha! I lost count how many times Linnea was crying and screaming - and holding back her poop!!  She got out a TINY amount one time.  Dang, it's kind of frustrating because I've no (easy) idea how to help her at this point!!  I managed to get a few pictures in between her yelling.  Speaking of her yelling;  Avi was still sitting at the breakfast table, everyone else was done, and she heard Linnea start howling from the play room.  (Trying to poop)  Well Avi just immediately said, "Atley just hit Linnea!!"  They were on the opposite side of the Play room and Avi did NOT see anything!!  She was just doing some "experienced guessing!"  Haha! Linnea ate lots of oatmeal and ate baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, ate most of whole wheat dinner roll, no cauliflower, and ate her mangoes. Linnea was wanting to show-off for Lauralea this morning and got her attention by saying; "Look-it Lor-la, look-it Lor-la."  What Lauralea "look-it" at her Linnea immediately started bouncing and being silly on the mattress!  A bit later Linnea said, "Lor-la, look my pony."  Lauralea asked, "Did Gary do it, or did Mommy do it?"  Linnea said, " My Gary do it."  Awww....melt me heart.  :) Does this picture look familiar!?!  Ha!  The morning ritual!!  I love how Callahan's looking up at Linnea.  So cute. Linnea ate whole wheat English muffin and three servings of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. First picture: Linnea was on the window step after waving at Daddy and Anders and didn't want to move.  It was very obvious that she was uncomfortable without pooping for a few days!!  So I told her I was gonna put a new ponytail in her hair right there and that's what we did.  Callahan was arriving as I was taking the picture! Linnea ate two servings of French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hearty paleo stew with meat, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots.  She also ate crackers and tropical fruit. This first note is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  I was changing Svea's poopy diaper and Linnea had arranged a couple of blocks to stand on and watch from the viewing area.  Ha!  Linnea saw it was poopy and she said, "Yuk Svea! Yuk!"  Haha!!  (She's had good teachers around here!)
